This colorful piece built in 1555 -1561 by Ivan IV (a.k.a Ivan the Terrible) to celebrate the capture of the Khanate of Kazan. It was built in the old way most Russians buildings were made, colorful and with amazing shapes!

Literally carved into rocks, they were created by persecuted Christians. There are over one hundred and fifty of these buildings in the area that also serve as houses.
